Many raptors love snow. This one hates it. However, I do love Yosemite in winter. Every so often we go around Christmas as A) it's gorgeous and B) it's not like we celebrate. When we went this weekend, there was just a bit of snow happening...

We took Beanbutt, I mean Baldy (our stuffed Bald Eagle) with us to Yosemite this weekend. I stuck him in my shoulder bag when walking back from our tent at Curry Village to the car.
